1. Chocolate Avocado Pudding (Paleo & Vegan)

If you enjoy chocolate pudding but not the sugar, this recipe is for you! All you need is one avocado, cocoa powder, honey or agave, and a bit of non-dairy milk. You add the ingredients to a blender, stick it in the fridge till it's cold, and then enjoy! When I tried this recipe the pudding was delicious, especially topped with chocolate chips and cookie crumbs. The only thing you should be mindful of is that if the pudding is left in the fridge too long it will have too much of an avocado taste, so eat it quickly! 2. Fruit Two Ways

Fruit seasons are going to be in full swing as summer hits. There will be strawberries, peaches, and apricots everywhere! If you manage to get your hands on some of these sweet delicacies, there are two foolproof ways to enjoy them. Cut them up and make yourself a fruit salad which will look great with the colorful fruits. For some extra sweetness, coat the fruit with a bit of sugar to bring out its natural tang. If you still have your blender available after the chocolate pudding, make a smoothie! Your smoothie does not have to be as aesthetically pleasing as all of the TikTok smoothie bowls, it only needs to taste great. What fruit is added to the smoothie is not important except when wanting a thicker smoothie add more frozen fruit. For those who like recipes, click here for a few smoothie ideas.

3. Nachos

This recipe can be both sweet and savory. Classic nachos made with tortilla chips and dripping, stretchy cheese. Stick some chips on a pan, cover with cheese, and put them into an oven until the cheese is melted. Time to enjoy the gooey goodness! For some sweet nachos, you need apples, peanut or sun butter, chocolate chips, or any other toppings you can think of. Cut your apples into thin slices and arrange them on a plate so that every piece can get some goodness. Then melt the peanut/sun butter in the microwave for a few seconds and then drizzle on top of the apple slices. Sprinkle on your toppings and enjoy! Click here for the sweet nachos recipe.

Veggies are always going to be a good option for a healthy summer snack. A simple snack with raw cut-up veggies and some ranch is a great way to refuel during a long day at the beach. This snack can be easily shared with friends and family to spread the summer spirit.

Despite its unconventional name, this snack is great for kids and adults. This is a great snack to make with younger siblings to help entertain them during summer break and reconnect after the school year. There are several variations to ants on a log but they all follow the same style.
